  • Fitzgerald Garage
    80 W. Oliver St. (use for GPS)
    Note that the Fitzgerald facility and grounds are nonsmoking areas.
  • Along Mount Royal Avenue, south side in front of the William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center, and in front of Charles Royal (dashboard permit required)
  • Morton Alley between the Academic Center and Learning Commons (pull up to the trees)
  • Oliver Street behind the Academic Center, near the planters by the alley

 

  • How can I park in disability parking spaces on campus?

    Mt. Royal in front of Thumel Business Center

    Eligibility: Students, Faculty, and Staff

    Requirements: Obtain City-issued parking permit from UBalt parking office, by showing State of Maryland or other state handicapped certificate.

    Permits: Issued annually. Also need handicapped emblem license plate or State-issued placard. Pay $50 fee. 

     

     

    Mt. Royal parking lot

    Eligibility: Faculty and Staff

    Requirements: Obtain UBalt parking permit from UBalt parking office, by showing State of Maryland or other state handicapped certificate. Enrollment in Mt. Royal pre-tax parking required.

    Permits: Permits issued each semester.

     

     

    Morton Street Alley

    Eligibility: Students, Faculty, and Staff

    Requirements: Obtain UBalt parking permit from UBalt parking office, by showing State of Maryland or other state handicapped certificate. For faculty and staff, enrollment in pre-tax parking required. Students receive a permit at no cost. 

    Permits: Permits issued each semester.

     

     

    Oliver Street behind Academic Center

    Eligibility: Students, Faculty, and Staff

    Requirements: Obtain UBalt parking permit from Ubalt parking office, by showing State of Maryland or other state handicapped certificate. For faculty and staff, enrollment in pre-tax parking required. Students receive a permit at no cost.

    Permits: Permits issued each semester.

     

     

    Fitzgerald Garage

    Eligibility: Students, Faculty, and Staff

    Requirements: Display State of Maryland or other state's handicapped emblem license plate or placard.

    (Select parking plan according to personal situation.)

    Permits: No UBalt-issued permit required.

  • I need to park a van on campus. Where can I park it?

    We currently have van-accessible parking in the Maryland Avenue Garage (lower level, along the Biddle Street side) and in the Fitzgerald Garage. Note that the Cathedral Street entrance of the Maryland Avenue Garage has higher clearance.
  • Is the free UB shuttle that circulates campus wheelchair accessible?

    Yes, the that operates among the Student Center, parking facilities and State Center Metro is wheelchair accessible. Check the for shuttle arrival times.
