Since its establishment in 1969, the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Foundation has provided
financial support and professional guidance to the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ. While
heading into our sixth decade, the Foundation remains dedicated to ensuring the success
of the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ and all those it serves.
MISSION The mission of the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Foundation, Inc. (UBF) is to raise and
manage funds and provide financial support to the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ. UBF provides
leadership, guidance and support to the University’s administration in advancing the
mission and vision of the University.
VISION Through effective advocacy, financial support, resource management and expertise,
UBF will play a central role in the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØâ€™s ongoing growth and development
as ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØe’s university and will contribute to UBalt’s increasing recognition locally,
regionally and nationally.
STRUCTURE The ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Foundation, Inc. was chartered by the articles of Incorporation
approved by the State of Maryland, City of ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØe the 16th of June, 1969 as a charitable
and educational not-for-profit corporation to serve the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ with
the provisions of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 as amended.

The ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ is able to have a broad impact on the region because of
the generosity of those who see the value in a UBalt education. UBalt has been a pillar
in the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØe community and continues to educate the future leaders in the applied
liberal arts, public affairs, law and business.
