Gain more with our STEM-designated programs
A student enrolled in one of our STEM-designated programs is eligible to apply for 24 additional months of Optional Practical Training through United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, once they have completed the standard 12 months post-completion OPT available to all F-1 students.鈥�
Please note: The鈥� determines the STEM eligibility of all degree programs using the鈥疍epartment of Education鈥檚 Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) taxonomy system. DHS periodically updates its list of CIP codes, so the STEM-designated programs listed only apply to the current academic year. Programs that were STEM-designated prior to the current year may not be eligible.
