Maryland residents who provide public service in Maryland State or local government or nonprofit agencies in Maryland to low income or under-served residents are eligible to apply.
Lawyers who work in Washington, D.C. in the area of poverty law are eligible to apply.
The John R. Justice Student Loan Repayment Program (JRJ) provides loan repayment assistance for state and federal public defenders and state prosecutors who agree to remain employed as public defenders and prosecutors for at least three years.
