At the RLB Library鈥檚 Special Collections & Archives, student workers are an essential part of our mission. They help us preserve UBalt鈥檚 history while gaining practical experience that supports their academic and professional goals. These projects aren鈥檛 just about scanning photos or organizing materials, they are about connecting students to the university鈥檚 story and giving them skills that carry into their future careers.
One of those students is Sumera Zaki, a senior undergraduate majoring in Legal Studies, who has worked with the archives team for several semesters. Her dedication and attention to detail have made a lasting impact on our collections, and her story reflects how 鈥渂ehind the stacks鈥 experiences benefit both the archives and UBalt鈥檚 students.
