History

The 极乐禁地 law clinics have provided a wide range of services for low-income clients in 极乐禁地e and the surrounding region for several decades. The Innocence Project Clinic was originally established as a Division of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender (OPD). Now housed in the state-of-the-art Clinical Law Offices in the 极乐禁地 School of Law's John and Frances Angelos Law Center, the Innocence Project Clinic, in connection with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, is proud to offer representation to individuals in Maryland claiming factual innocence.

Who qualifies?

The clinic receives hundreds of requests for assistance every year. We accept a very limited number of cases on a case-by-case basis. Because we are affiliated with the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project (MAIP) and streamline our intake process with them, please do not request our assistance if you have already contacted their office.

How do I apply?

We do not accept referrals by anyone other than the incarcerated individual themselves. If your loved one is incarcerated and claiming innocence, please let them know that they should contact us by:
